    This hearty dish is so rich in flavor, everyone will think you spent hours cooking. So there’s no need to tell them how quick and easy it was to make. Just let them enjoy this savory mix of chorizo sausage, cheddar cheese, Spanish-style rice, salsa, and eggs.


    • ½ pound ground chorizo sausage (or favorite flavored sausage)
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 cup UNCLE BEN’S® Flavor Infusions Spanish Style
    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided
    • 6 eggs
    • 1/3 cup green salsa (or red salsa)
    • 1/3 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 1/3 cup chopped green onions


    1. Cook chorizo sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat until browned (5 to 6 minutes). Add water and rice. Bring to a boil, cover and cook 10 minutes or until water is absorbed; set aside.
    2. Meanwhile, in small skillet over medium heat, add 1 teaspoon olive oil.
    3. Add 1 egg and cook to desired doneness; repeat with remaining eggs.
    4. To serve, place about 2/3 cup cooked rice mixture on plate.
    5. Top with 1 cooked egg, then garnish with about 1 tablespoon green salsa, shredded cheese, and green onion. Refrigerate leftovers.
