About This Dish

Here’s a delicious southwestern twist on a perennial favorite: rice and beans. Corn, black beans and diced tomatoes infuse this dish with mouthwatering flavor.


  • 1 (8.75 ounce) can whole kernel corn 
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can black beans 
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomato 
  • 1 (8-ounce) can diced green chiles 
  • 2 pouches UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE® Spanish Style  


  1. Heat a large sauté pan; add corn, black beans, tomato and chiles.
  2. While mixture is heating, heat rice in microwave according to package instructions.
  3. Place rice in bottom of bowl and top with vegetable bean mixture.
