    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 6 pork chops center, cut 3/4" to 1" thick
    • 1/2 cup dry white wine
    • 1 (15-ounce) can chopped tomatoes
    • 1 medium green pepper, coarsely chopped
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 2 medium onions, cut into wedges
    • 1 cup UNCLE BEN’S®  ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice 
    • 1 6-8 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained
    • 1 tablespoon flour


    1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown pork chops on both sides.
    2. Add tomatoes, onions, green pepper, garlic, salt and white wine. Cover and simmer until chops are tender, about 1 hour.
    3. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package instructions. When done, add mushrooms to rice.
    4. When chops are tender, remove from skillet; keep warm. Add flour and cook sauce in skillet to until it has thickened. Serve chops and sauce over rice.
