About This Dish

Here’s a hearty, bursting-with-flavor dish to keep your family full. Long grain and wild rice combines with pork tenderloin, apples and walnuts to deliver a meal everyone in your family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 package UNCLE BEN’S® Long Grain and Wild Rice, Original Recipe
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 green apple, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup real maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Season pork tenderloin with salt and pepper as desired. Grill or bake to desired doneness.
  2. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  3. Spray a small saucepan with cooking spray and add diced apple. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add walnuts and maple syrup and continue to cook for 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand until pork is done.
  4. Pour apple mixture over pork and serve with rice.
  5. Tasty Tip: Serve with your favorite green vegetable such as asparagus or green beans.
