Who said hearty, beefy recipes have to take a long time to prepare? This satisfy-your-family recipe cooks up in just 10 minutes! And they’ll love the beef and green bean combo.


  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 red and/or yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces boneless beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 14.5-ounce can Del Monte® Cut Green Beans or French Style Green Beans with Roasted Garlic, drained
  • 1/4 cup stir-fry sauce, divided
  • 2 pouches UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE® Whole Grain Brown
  • Sliced green onion, optional
  • Toasted slivered almonds, optional


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Cook bell pepper 3 minutes or until just tender-crisp. Add garlic and cook 15 seconds, stirring constantly. (Omit garlic if using French Style Green Beans with Roasted Garlic.) Remove from skillet; set aside.
  2. Cook steak 2 minutes in same skillet, or until beef begins to brown, stirring occasionally. Add peppers, beans and 2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce; cook 2 minutes or until heated through and slightly thickened. Gently stir in remaining 2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce.
  3. Meanwhile, heat rice according to package directions. To serve, spoon steak mixture over rice. Garnish with green onion or almonds, if desired.
