    Here’s a savory, one-skillet meal that has everything you need to satisfy your hungry family, like ham, bacon, potatoes, and fresh asparagus. They all come together in delicious harmony. Best of all, it’s so easy to make in so little time.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons sesame oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
    • 2 cups cut asparagus
    • 1 cup sliced sweet potato
    • ½ cup sliced red onion
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 cup UNCLE BEN’S® Flavor Infusions Garlic & Butter
    • ½ pound ham, cut into cubes
    • 2 tablespoons crumbled cooked bacon
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

    Instructions

    1. In a 10-inch skillet, heat sesame seed oil over medium heat.
    2. Add asparagus, sweet potato, and onion; cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp tender (6 to 7 minutes).
    3. Add water and rice.
    4. Cover and bring to a boil (4 to 5 minutes).
    5. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
    6. Stir in ham and let sit until all water is absorbed.
    7. Serve on individual plates garnished with bacon and sesame seeds. Refrigerate leftovers.
