    About this dish

    Chicken and cheddar cheese combine to make this dinner-table favorite a pure taste delight.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup cubed cooked chicken
    • 1 cup cubed, cooked beef
    • 1 cup cubed, cooked ham
    • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice
    • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
    • Pinch salt
    • Pinch pepper
    • 1/4 cup onion, minced
    • 2-1/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
    • 1/4 cup sweet white wine
    • 1 tablespoon chopped green celery tops (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Sauté onion and almonds until golden. Stir in rice and sauté until light brown.
    2. Add broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    3. Stir in chicken, beef and ham. Return to a boil, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    4. Pour into 2-1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese and wine. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in 350° F oven.
    5. Garnish with celery tops, if desired.
