    Cooking instructions

    1. Squeeze READY RICE® Jambalaya Rice pouch to separate rice.
    2. Tear 2 inches to vent.
    3. Heat on HIGH for 90 seconds.

    Cooking time for 2 pouches = 2½ minutes. Microwave times may vary. Take care when handling and opening the hot pouch. Refrigerate unused portion.

    In the skillet

    1. Gently squeeze the sides of the pouch to break apart the rice and pour contents into a skillet. Add 2 Tbsp. of water and heat.
    2. Stir rice occasionally until heated thoroughly.
    3. Serve immediately.

I really liked it - a nice kick to the flavor, even my 18 month old enjoyed a few bites when he typically hates rices. A+ in my books - can't beat this on a week day night after work. I'm all about convenience on those hectic evenings.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Easy To Jazz Up! For a full meal, I saute some diced cooked chicken and andouille or kielbasa in a little garlic and cajun spice, then toss it with the hot Jambalaya rice. It's terrific! I'd love this flavor to be available with BROWN rice too!
