About This Dish

The distinct flavor of ginger combines with the sweetness of honey, brown sugar and Dijon mustard. The result: a chicken dish your family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 box UNCLE BEN’S® Long Grain & Wild Rice, Original Recipe 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • 6 pieces (4–6 ounces each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts 
  • 1/4 cup honey 
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar 
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger 
  • 1/2 cup low sodium chicken or vegetable broth  

Instructions

  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Grill, bake or pan-sear until cooked through.
  3. In a small saucepan add chicken stock, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard and ginger. Over medium heat, stir mixture often until glaze forms, about 4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand until chicken is done. Apply glaze to chicken and serve with rice.
