Cooking Instructions

Stove Top*

  1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter (optional) into a medium saucepan. Stir well.
  2. Bring contents to a boil, REDUCE HEAT and simmer covered 10 minutes.
  3. REMOVE FROM HEAT. Set aside 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve.

ALTERNATE COOK METHOD:

*For best results, use stove top cooking method.

Microwave

  1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups HOT water and 1 Tbsp. butter (optional) into a 2 qt microwave-safe glass bowl. Stir well.
  2. Cover tightly with microwave safe glass lid or plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
  3. Reduce to MEDIUM (50%) for 8-10 minutes. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve.
