COOKING DIRECTIONS
Stove Top Directions:
- Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 ¼ cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (optional) into a medium saucepan. Stir well.
- Bring contents to a boil. REDUCE HEAT (low to medium-low) and simmer covered 25 minutes or until water is absorbed.
For Two Boxes Use:
Use 4 ¼ cups water and 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (optional) and follow steps 1 and 2 of the stove top cooking directions.
Microwave Directions:
- Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 ¼ cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (optional) into a 2-qt microwave-safe glass dish. Stir well.
- Cover and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.*
- Reduce to MEDIUM (50%) for 24-28 minutes. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.
