TIPS FOR STORING UNCLE BEN'S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED™ Brand Rice:
UNCLE BEN'S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED™ Brand Rice should be stored in its own container so it can "breathe." It should not be stored in airtight containers. It should be stored in a cool (not over 80°F), dry, insect-free area, away from odoriferous materials of any kind. Rice is porous and can pick up flavors and odors from other foods if stored too close to them. Storing uncooked rice in the refrigerator or freezer will result in fresher rice for a longer period of time (recommended 6 months).
