COOKING DIRECTIONS

Stove Top Directions:

1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional) into a medium saucepan. Stir well.
2. Bring contents to a boil, REDUCE HEAT and simmer covered 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, set aside 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve.

For Two Boxes Use:
3-1/2 cups of water and 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional).

Microwave Directions:

1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups HOT water and 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional) into a 2-qt microwave-safe glass dish. Stir well.
2. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.*
3. Reduce to MEDIUM (50%) for 8-10 minutes. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve.

CHEF'S TIPS®:
Add 1 package frozen mixed vegetables right after step 2 of the stove top cooking directions.
