Ingredients
| 1 | box UNCLE BEN’S® Long Grain & Wild Rice Original Recipe (6-ounce) |
| 2 | cups leeks (white part only), chopped |
| 1 | Tbsp. fresh sage finely chopped |
| 1 | large clove garlic passed through a press |
| 1/2 | cup orange juice |
| 1 | Tbsp. lemon juice |
| 2 | Tbsp. unsalted butter |
| 2 1/4 | cups water |
| salt and pepper to taste |
| 1/8 | tsp. ground cinnamon |
Instructions
1. In a 2-quart saucepan, add rice, spice packet and ½ tablespoon butter. Bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer and cover saucepan. Cook for 25 minutes.
2. Melt remaining butter in a large skillet. Add leeks and cook, stirring, over medium heat for 15 minutes until soft and golden. Add orange juice, lemon juice, sage and garlic. Cook over high heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add cooked rice to skillet and stir 1 minute until rice is hot. Add cinnamon, and salt and pepper to taste.
