Ingredients
| 1 1/2 | cups UNCLE BEN’S® Fast & Natural™ Whole Grain Instant Brown Rice |
| 1/2 | lb. ground turkey |
| 1 | can tomatoes (low sodium) |
| 1/2 | cup shredded cheddar cheese |
| 1 | cup celery sliced |
| 1 | can kidney beans |
| 1 | cup onion chopped |
| 1 | tsp. garlic powder |
| 1/2 | tsp. black pepper |
| 1/2 | tsp. dried basil crushed |
| 1/4 | tsp. ground red pepper |
| 2 | tsp. dried oregano crushed |
| 1 | cup water |
| non stick cooking spray |
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray an unheated large skillet with the non-stick cooking spray.
3. Add the turkey, celery, and onion and cook over medium heat until the turkey browns.
4. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice. Chop coarsely and set aside.
5. Combine the turkey mixture, rice, kidney beans, tomatoes and their juice, water, oregano, garlic powder, black pepper, basil and red pepper in a 2-1/2 quart casserole dish. Mix well.
6. Bake uncovered at 350F. for 25 minutes.
7. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until the cheese melts. Serve.
