Turkey and Brown Rice Bake

Ingredients

1 1/2cups UNCLE BEN’S® Fast & Natural™ Whole Grain Instant Brown Rice
1/2lb. ground turkey
1can tomatoes (low sodium)
1/2cup shredded cheddar cheese
1cup celery sliced
1can kidney beans
1cup onion chopped
1tsp. garlic powder
1/2tsp. black pepper
1/2tsp. dried basil crushed
1/4tsp. ground red pepper
2tsp. dried oregano crushed
1cup water
non stick cooking spray

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray an unheated large skillet with the non-stick cooking spray.
3. Add the turkey, celery, and onion and cook over medium heat until the turkey browns.
4. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice. Chop coarsely and set aside.
5. Combine the turkey mixture, rice, kidney beans, tomatoes and their juice, water, oregano, garlic powder, black pepper, basil and red pepper in a 2-1/2 quart casserole dish. Mix well.
6. Bake uncovered at 350F. for 25 minutes.
7. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until the cheese melts. Serve.

May substitute any ground meat for the turkey, beef pork, chicken or your favorite sausage
