Ingredients
| 3/4 | cup UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice |
| pepperoni |
| 4 | oz. mozzarella cheese sliced |
| parmesan cheese |
| 1/4 | onion chopped |
| sliced mushrooms |
| oregano as needed |
| basil as needed |
| 1 | can tomato sauce |
| sugar to taste |
| 1 3/4 | cups water |
| 1 1/2 | tsp. salt |
| 1 | Tbsp. cooking oil |
Instructions
1. Sauté onion in oil; remove from heat. Add tomato sauce, water, salt and other seasonings to taste.
2. Add rice. Bring to a boil. Stir well. Cover and lower heat. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and sauce is cooked down thick.
3. Stir to prevent sticking; add a bit of water if needed. Turn mixture into a well-oiled pizza pan or 2 pie pans.
4. Spread, with Parmesan, Mozzarella and any other toppings you desire. Slip into oven at 350? to melt cheese and brown edges.
5. Cut in wedges. Serve on plates.
