Ingredients

1cup UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice
1/2cup raisins
1Tbsp. butter
1/2tsp. lemon peel grated
1/2tsp. turmeric
2 1/4cups water
1/2tsp. salt
3Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Place all ingredients in a 3-quart baking dish.
2. Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover.
3. Bake until liquid is tender, about 35 minutes.

tips and notes
Add in some diced apple and toasted coconut. It is a nice contrast of flavors with the raisins.
