Ingredients
| 1 | cup UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice |
| 4 | pork chops (center cut 3/4" thick) |
| 1/4 | cup onion chopped |
| 3/4 | cup tea |
| 1 1/2 | cups water |
| 2 | Tbsp. vegetable oil |
| 1 | can black-eyed peas drained |
| Cajun seasoning to taste |
Instructions
1. Brown pork chops in skillet with hot oil; if thick, simmer slowly, covered, to partially cook.
2. Lift out chops and pour out all fat from skillet. Add remaining ingredients and place chops on top.
3. Bring to a boil. Stir; cover and lower heat.
4. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender, most of the liquid is absorbed and chops are done.
Note: 1 lb. total weight for pork chops used for nutritional analysis.

To make pork chops with red beans and rice, substitute a can of red or kidney beans, drained, for the black-eyed peas.
