Chinese Rice with Pork

Ingredients

1cup UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice
1package pork (raw) cut into 1" x 1/2" cubes
1 onion sliced
1/2cup celery sliced
1/4cup butter
1Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2cup almond slivers
1tsp. salt
3cups chicken broth

Instructions

1. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Add pork and onion, brown well. Add celery, soy sauce, rice, salt, broth.
3. Cover tightly. Cook over high heat until steaming freely, then turn heat to simmer and cook for 25 minutes.
4. Serve

tips and notes
Garnish with sliced green onions and slivered almonds or peanuts before serving. Can also substitute beef or chicken for the pork.
