Ingredients
| 1 | cup UNCLE BEN’S® Fast & Natural™ Whole Grain Instant Brown Rice |
| 3 1/2 | cups cooking apples peeled and sliced |
| 1 | Tbsp. lemon juice |
| 1/4 | cup walnuts chopped |
| 5 | Tbsp. margarine |
| 1/2 | tsp. cinnamon |
| 1/4 | tsp. salt |
| 3/4 | cup flour |
| 1 | cup packed brown sugar divided |
| 1 1/4 | cups water |
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in rice, reduce heat, cover tightly and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
3. Combine rice, apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and half the brown sugar. Spread into a greased 8" round baking dish.
4. Cut flour, remaining brown sugar and margarine together until the mixture is uniformly crumbly. Stir in walnuts and sprinkle mixture over the apples and rice.
5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Serve.
