You’re just 15 minutes away from a tasty rice snack or side dish. If you love the green beans and almonds, this recipe will become a favorite.
In a large 2-quart saucepan, heat the butter.
Add rice and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the green beans and water, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
While rice is simmering, in a small skillet toast the almonds over medium low heat (should take about 3 minutes).
When all liquid has been absorbed, gently stir in the almonds and serve.
